Every Saturday – Friday Harbor  - Farmers Market 10 am – 1pm
'Eat Locally' is a way of life for many residents in the San Juan Islands. Our local Farmers' Market gives us access to island-raised produce, berries, flowers, meat, eggs and dairy products, as well as local seafood and shellfish. The market also features freshly cooked and prepared foods made from local ingredients.
The San Juan Island Farmers' Market has expanded to more than 40 vendors over the past 10 years. It is held on Saturdays from 10:00 a.m. until 1:00 p.m. in Friday Harbor, Washington. Local farmers from all around the San Juan Islands bring their beautiful produce and artisan products to sell.  The Farmers' Market' regular season opens from 10 am to 1 pm at the Courthouse parking lot in Friday Harbor each April, and continues every Saturday until October.

More than 90 partner re-enactors from Fort Langley, Fort Rodd Hill, New Westminster, and Esquimalt, BC; and Fort Nisqually, Fort Steilacoom, and Fort Vancouver will join with San Juan Islanders in staging the two-day exhibition.  Activities include recreations of mid-19th century Royal Marine Light Infantry and U.S. Army camp life, demonstrations of music, blacksmithing, spinning and weaving, sewing and cooperage and carpentry, along with the pageantry of period uniforms in scarlet and blue.  Highlight of the weekend is the Candlelight Ball, scheduled at 8 p.m., in the English Camp barracks.
