There are two ways to get to the island; plane or boat.  Washington State Ferry Service operates several sailings daily from Anacortes, WA, serving both walk-on and automobile traffic. 

Flying is the quickest way to get here, the flight being just 45 minutes from either Boeing Field adjacent to SeaTac airport or float plan from Lake Union in downtown Seattle.  Kenmore Air operates both services.
